precious memories

adriansummerton

I’m often asked to help others find inspiration and guidance on how to make the most of their lives, feel fulfilled, and achieve their goals.

Yesterday, my Dad, Harry Summerton, was interviewed on Sky News about his experience at the last Coronation in 1953, and I was struck by the powerful life lessons that his story holds.

My dad is 92 years old, and as a member of the Royal Navy security detail, he was part of the parade during the last Coronation in 1953. Watching him speak on national TV, I couldn't help but notice the passion and enthusiasm he still holds for that experience, and his ability to recount it in some detail.

My dad’s story is a poignant reminder to seize every opportunity to make the most of life. Whether we are 20, 50, or 90, we can choose to approach each day with excitement, curiosity, and a sense of wonder about what the future may hold.

Of course, living with passion and enthusiasm is not always easy. Life is full of challenges and setbacks, and it can be easy to become disillusioned and lose sight of what truly matters.

Over the years my dad, like most has had to face many challenges, and rarely more so than of late. However, his story is a reminder that with the right mindset and attitude, we can overcome even the most difficult of obstacles and emerge stronger and more resilient.

I’m dedicated to helping others tap into their full potential and live lives that are filled with purpose, meaning, and fulfilment, and I’m proud to be able to share my Dad’s story.

Whether you’re looking to change career, build stronger relationships, or simply find greater success, happiness and contentment in your life, my dad’s story is a reminder that anything is possible if you approach life with an open heart and an unwavering commitment to your dreams.
