COACHING FOR LEADERS

It's the end of another exhausting week and you're no further forward than at the start.

You soon realise something about the endless list of stuff you’ve done - none of it was what you set out to do!

I coach leaders who want to stop saying yes when they’re already stretched, and start saying what they really think in meetings – even when others see it differently.

ABOUT ADRIAN

I know what it’s like to feel you need to do more.

I started out in accountancy and finance, then moved into recruitment and running a business. For years, I worked harder and longer because I never quite felt I was doing enough. Being coached helped me question that belief. It’s what drew me to coaching.

I’ll ask direct questions, bring humour where it fits, and help you work through the conversations you’re putting off or replaying in your head.

Outside work, I’m often out walking with Padstow, my Labradoodle, or writing my memoir.

More about me
THE PERFORMANCE GAME

Too much time spent controlling others’ perception of you

  • You say yes to another request when you’re already stretched.
  • You spend 25 minutes rewriting an email you knew how to answer in two.
  • You hold back in meetings because you don’t want to be seen as difficult.
  • You catch up at the weekend, even though you’d made plans with your family.

I call this the Performance Game.

THE HUMAN GAME

What changes when you stop second-guessing yourself

You pause before taking on more work. You tell your boss where you disagree and why. When you don’t have the answer, you say so. Each time you handle a conversation that way, you build evidence that you can trust your own judgement. That’s where quiet confidence starts.
